Sir Nani,
Sir, your collection is nothing to be ashamed of. To each his own lang tlaga. while others are into stamps, barbie dolls, coins, cars, bonsai, cards, etc....ours is also unique.magandang diversion sa buhay ito till we turn old and grey...all for the love of music.
Actually, in the beginning, also holding off my postings before kasi ang kikinis ng mga gamit at kgagara rin ng mga nagpoposting lalu na duon sa kabila, kamamahal na parang hindi naghihirap ang Pilipino ;D.Cguro, mas friendly lang ang neihborhood dito kya nilakasan ko na rin ipost yung mga na hoard ko na before...its fun to share, ika nga...
keep on posting, m sure dami pang nakatago jan sa tabi tabi. ;D..

sir,
Kaya naman pala you were kicked out of your room. Worth it naman pala (he-he). WOW!! Since you were collecting gears ahead of me mga 15 years lang naman, I will be able to post a hoard like yours sometime in 2020. Congrats sir. BTW if you see a TT like your hitachi let me know . Mukhang mas practical nga than my 1200. Thanks

That's true, but there must be a way of helping the keepers of this board financially, parang sa AK. Nahihiya ako kung minsan. I actually postponed opening a separate website early this year since it also involves server and domain fees, etc. samantalang meron namang PinoyAudio.
Last month, I sent a Sansui 707F knob to OMI of AK in Alabama and I spent roughly P200 for that. After he received the knob, I asked him to send to AK a donation of $5 in my name. What he did was to remit to AK $20 in my name.
Maybe, I could send some parts or gear needed by members there in Manila and instead of paying me, the amount would go to PinoyAudio or something like that.

My plan actually was for a website, which entails cost. I don't know if pro boards don't have cost -- other than the domain and server fees. Audio Karma has a donation box and regular reminders for members to share in the cost, despite having ads on the site. Lansing Heritage too has a donation mechanism. It's just an idea anyway, which is up to the keepers to decide.

Thanks for the site, I have already registered at multiply.com a couple of months back, which is free, pero tinamad na since there's a PinoyAudio anyway. Maybe I'd pursue it in the coming months -- kasi puwede ka na ring mag-blog outside of audio, the usual things I write in my column articles, from politics to culture and economics.
By the way, multiply.com has a feature that allows sharing of rare recordings/songs from one's personal folders without passing through the usual file-sharing channels such as Limewire and Kazaa. I thought that's relevant for guys into song collecting too, especially those that hard to find or never recorded in CD.

Sir you are a true collector. I've seen bits and pieces of your collection before, but when put all together like this, talaga namang nakakalula . One day soon I hope to make a pilgrimage to what I consider the shrine of vintage audio gears in the country. Anybody else interested in coming? Seriously, if any other audio fool wants to take a break from the daily grind, Davao should be on the top of your list. Not only for the place and it's myriad attractions but also (maybe most importantly) for the chance to see this fantastic collection. Kung hindi ka masyadong ma-aabala sir Nani... ;D And your idea about helping this forum is a very good one sir. I'm all for that. I agree with Dana and Southpeak; I like this forum. It's really laid back and relaxed...cool ang mga members. Wala ung bangayan at pataasan ng ihi tulad nung ibang forums. Kaya lang, in the words of one Commonwealth audio fool (not Dana ;D), "parang patay..walang masyadong activity". But I think it's the members collective responsibility to see that this forum survives and prospers, 'di ba? Which means more posts for me and you guys, I guess ;D

Sir Sandawa, again congratz sa vintage collection mo.
But....
As I've mentioned before in other posts...what's in Nani's brain pertaining to audio that he freely shares with us is actually a very valuable resource that he already provides in this and other forums... time and again...i've asked Nani for audio advice and he hasnt failed to come up with valuable counsel...
again...
Sir sandawa rocks!!!!

If you'll compare with the other local audio sites, the features of PinoyAudio is not just its friendly community members but also the availability of photos, especilaly of vintage gear. We also have access to specs -- especially pricing -- of gear that are no longer distributed, wala nun yung iba.
Those are valuable references for true audio enthusiasts. I think the vintage guys could find a home here because of the friendly environment. Tama ang point mo sir, dapat mas frequent ang postings natin.

Hello guys, This is my first time to write on this thread. Pag tinitignan ko yung mga collections nyo ng vintage stuff, nalulula ako lalo na yung kay sir sandawa. And i was so glad to finally meet him last weekend to share our common passion for music and collecting. I would like to share some of my vintage stuff as i try to collect them little by little. First is my pre-amp and power amp combo...... This is a dynaco st-120 power amp and combo dynaco PAT-4 pre-amplifier. Both in very good condition. One of my source is this..... This is a Sansui stereo casette sc-3110 in good working condition. And lastly my baby speakers..... a pair of yamaha ns-1000M speakers.

Krisces, yours is one very fine collection. Very, very nice. I particularly like the speakers. Hard to find these days.
