Hi Bayonic, Here are the answers to your questions: 1. tanong lang sir kung pwede ... madali lang ba ang pagpalit at pag-adjust ? wala pa kasi akong test record ... force gauge ... etc. A. Maybe it will not be too easy for a novice but the learning experience is nice. Mandatory, though, that you have the right tools to mount/align it properly. tsaka , pwede din ba ang grado sa project Debut ? A. Yes, puedeng peude and Black to Gold sa Debut model. Incidentally, we will have stocks of Debut III next week. I willquote the price when they arrive. The Debut III comes fitted with an Ortofon MM cartrridge. and from where did you buy the grado? A. Where else but from Audio Den. As well as Project turntables and Cambridge Audio Int. Amps, CD Players. Regards, Pican thanks for the replies . still pondering on whether to upgrade the cart or the entire turntable ayos ... sa AudioDen pala . it's very close to where I live.

May darating na Project DebutIII next week. Price is about P22-23K less discount. It will come fitted with an Ortofon MM cartridge. Maybe not as nice as the Green but libre naman, eh. You can use it as s starter. But then again, baka naman OK din.

is the OEM cartridge (Elektra or Audio-Technica) still available? if it is, would someone kindly point point me to the source? how much does it cost? TT enthusiasts, i came across a shop selling a NOS Audio-Technica package (cartidge and stylus...or are they really sold like these?) selling for php 900.00. i checked the 'net and came up with these; specifications are as follows: AT57XE Audio-technica ULTRA MINIATURE Stereo Cartridge Integral Headshell Design BiRadial Diamond Stylus .3 x .7 mil nude The specification Instructions include AT55XE, AT57XE and AT59XE. Freq resp= 15- 25,000 Output 3.5 volt(mv at 1khz,5cm/sec Vertical Tracking force 1.2 to 1.8 grams Recommended load impedance = 47k Cartridge weight is 7 grams Replacement stylus ATN55XE Made in JAPAN i'm planning to use this with a Technics SL-D3. would this cart/stylus combo be decent enough for an entry-level analog system? does the OEM cartridge mentioned earlier accept a variety of styli or are there only specific ones? your inputs would be highly appreciated. thanks so much.

Recently got the $57.99 shure m97xe from amazon . Comes with a protractor, stylus brush and a screwdriver. I like this better than the goldring elektra, shure m44 and 55 am presently using. It has a neutral sound, great highs but i think the low end of the 44 goes deeper. Like their TOTL V15, the 97xe also has a carbon brush to clean up the dust before it reaches the stylus. Am presently using this on my technics 1200II

The M92E, M97E are audiophile grade cartridges intended for people who are more interested with details than heart pumping, feet stomping music. just my 2 cents worth.

My wife brought this back from the states. I estimate about P1500 thru johnny air cargo. If you can do a group purchase of say about 4-6 pcs among members , you can save on freight. Sandawa and I did that when i ordered 3 pcs sonic t amps from amazon.

here's a vintage 30-yr old Pickering XV15/1200E (also known as Stanton 681EEE, i think). not exactly an inexpensive cartridge now, since it's still being auctioned at a little less than $100 used in eBay (replacement stylus at over $100), but it was priced at only $60, with stylus, in the '70s. AK analog addicts are crazy about this cart model, especially after a former Pickering/Stanton official came out in the fourm and started to post company secrets and how Saul Marantz was amazed at this model despite of its being easily accessible (in the '70s and '80s) in the US market. it was described as one the best US cartridge firms ever produced and better than all Shure models during its time, including the V15 type 4. one member who owns many cartridges agreed except, he said, the discontinued V15xMR (type 5) was slightly better. i guess this would be a match to the current M97, which has suddenly became Shure's home hifi TOTL.

question lang - di ba parang balewala yung brush, kasi tatama sya sa groove after madaanan ng stylus dapat brush muna bago stylus di ba?
