Mama mia! What a lovely collection of vintage amps, receivers, ttables! When I grow up, I wanna be like Lord Foo!
Hahah. Wag ka na sir stereophile... you know that my toys are junk toys compared to your audiophile-art collections which are all veritable ART OBJECTS. Yep! I've seen their pictures and each is truly a pleasure to behold -- a feast to the eyes.

LordFoo- I've listened to some vintage gears in the past and I often wonder why one has to buy newer & expensive gears... ???That's the sad truth sometimes. You have a wonderful collection of gears. Nice thing is, if you get tired of the sound of your current system, just switch ttable or amp or speaker, then it will sound fresh again-a veritable audio pheonix! Congratulations!

That's the TRUTH sir. Pag nagsawa ako sa current setup, palit agad.
Its good that the people in my house are tolerant of my love affair with Audio.
However, the love affair is getting so "torrid" that I just have to put up a set up in most of the rooms i hangout in.
There's one in the Attic, in the terrace, in the bedroom, in the bedroom extension, in the sala, in three kid's bedrooms.
I even have a small denon receiver with bookshelves set-up in the walk in bath room/dressing room.
This way I keep the units regularly working. The units i have in the shelf in the picture are the ones I am not using right now.
I still say however that your audio equipment is of a higher, more "select", quality.

It looks similar to the Transcriptor ttables from the UK. It has the minimal contact platter design started by the transcriptors.

Sir Wala dyan sa storage rack ung favourite units ko ... My curiousity pricked by some enthusiasts over at AK who said that the SONY VFET will match well with the Yamaha NS1000m. Here's the setup I am testing in a newly completed room. I've just received a copy of the Service Manual from a generous AK member (I think he's a friend of Sir Sandawa) and will have the unit adjusted and balanced. These two units are definitely Keepers for me.

Some hate the sound of it, but I really like the house-sound of those old school Celestion Aerolams. My SL600Si. Some don't consider it hi-end. But I just love the sound of this classic amp. My trusty ST70, complete with battle scars. Hahahaha!!!
