Many audiophiles consider live music to be the standard gainst which they measure how accurate their gears are. Not just any live music. But unamplified performances. Those 'unplugged' performances. So forget about live pop and rock outdoor concerts.
That leaves us with ensemble or orchestral music in an auditorium where no electronic amplification sits between you and the performer. Whether jazz or classical.
How many attend such concerts and how often? Do you find their sounds close to what your gears deliver at home?

as for me, yup, as long as free tickets are given...since my grandfather is the national artist nicanor abelardo, sometimes we have family gatherings at the CCP where his music is featured...thanks!

i watch concerts at the CCP complex when i visit Manila and if i have the time to relax. when i was based in QC, i watch shows there quarterly. that was from the '80's to late '90s. for me, Little Theatre has the best acoustics at the complex, very natural wherever you're seated. CCP and PICC have sweet spots. Folk Arts is relatively noisy. i use Little Theatre sound as reference to my hifi assessments.

the other night (sunday) was in CCP, twas the last night of the launching of the KARANGALAN launch by so and so (cnt recall them names e) there were live chorale perfromances from world class filipino talents and song renditions by artist who once have been part of the musical Miss Saigon.
was seated at the left facing the stage, and from my vantage point i do noticed that (to confirm sir sandawas observation) that ccp has a sweet spot.... specially in balleys numbers or dance rendition..... parang all the music im hearing is coming from the left channel lang.
and yes i did try to compare the brass instruments played by the UST brass band to my set-up. got inspriring results.
