thanks a lot sir, naipon lang. actually, i got several offers from Audio Karma members in the US for the Pickering as well as the Shure M75G (someone told me it was also preferred by a group of 'vintage' audiophiles there, he even posted a link) when they knew i have replacement styli for the two, aside from the ones installed, but i declined.
they could not believe some audio collectibles they were seeking are available on a "God-forsaken rebel-lair" island called Mindanao! anyway, one comment i got after describing Davao's background is: "that's like Hawaii."

thanks sir, i never planned to have this big cart collection and ironically the number increased when i was no longer that hot on vinyl. two years ago, i asked a surplus audio/video importer warehouse manager here if i could buy headshells of their defective turntables. he said no, adding he could not sell those surplus TTs at P1.5K each without the headshells.
the following day, i got a call from his assistant telling me he's got six headshells from defective turntables at P200 each. i was ecstatic when i dropped by: all the headshells have cartridges, but styli were all damaged (a defective Denon moving coil with fixed stylus was on a Technics SL-D3 that went to Jay, a member of this forum - when i got crazy one Sunday afternoon last year). luckily a few months ago, i discovered a source for replacement styli here and that revived most cartridges.
outside of my old stocks - Pickering, Shure, Ortofon and several Audio Technicas, all the other Jap carts in my possession (now fitted with new stylus - and with spares!) were from the surplus trader here. i still got some Jap carts, not in photos above, without styli until now.

Current cart status: 1. Sold my Denon DL103 Std. 2. Kept my out-of-production Shure V15xMR 3. Workhorse cart is still my trusty Shure M44-7 4. Looking for replacement stylus for my Goldring D-EJ cart. On day when I played an LP, the arm swung toward the label. Tried re-setting ttable/tonearm, still same results. Checked the cantilever: stylus was GONE! Wondering what happened...in comes my 1 y/o son who opens the lid of my SL-1200 , spins the platter like a DJ till my heart practically stops, then it dawned on me how the stylus was lost... Friends who visit me these days are wondering why there's a velcro strap around the lid & chassis of my SL-1200... ;D
