Technics SL-1200 Mk3: Shure M44-7/Shure V15xMR (nice thing about removeable headshells ;D) Technics SL-1900: Goldring Epic DJ-E Project Studie: Denon DL-103 Std
I really like the Shure M44-7 because of availability of its stylus replacement and ease of use. Lotsa bass on this one.
The Goldring doesn't have as much bass, but its there. Maybe a little bit more detail on its mids. Not as weighty as the M44-7.
The V15 has a lush mids. Refined. There is less gain than with the M44-7, but the detail/lushness it presents makes up for it. I would say the bass on the V15 is properly 'scaled'--meaning accurate in representation. The M44-7 is bottom heavy.
The DL103 (MC) presents a richer mid-hi at the expense of bass.
I've had these carts for over two years now. I've only had to replace the stylus in the M44-7 only once. It gets the heaviest use among the lot.
Why don't I use more expensive carts? Before I decide to upgrade, I prefer to make the most out of these, till the styli are worn. The M-447/V15xMRs styli can be replaced, so I guess these are keepers. I'll probably go for an upgrade when the DL103 gets worn. Problem is, if properly set-up and taken care of, a stylus should last about 1500hrs. At the rate I'm using this, it will take a couple of years.
Regardless, despite their 'entry-level' cost vs BIG BROTHER brands, I'm having so much fun using them--I'm a happy analog camper. I just make sure that the lps are cleaned as best as I can to minimize stylus wear.

i'm almost embarassed to post here since i'm more into digital sources now but then, i've been into analog since i started in this hobby in 1980 and had accumulated about two dozen cartridges already. i originally have only half a dozen carts/headshells, including p-mounts when i relocated here in Davao in '97. however, the arrival of surplus turntables here increased my inventory to close to two dozen carts and about four dozens of replacement styli. shown below are photos of some i am using now, missing are two Shures, M91ED and M44-7, which are now installed in my two Duals that i have placed under my bed the other day. (nakakatamad nang kunin!) the photos also do not include about a dozen p-mounts including two Audio Technicas, 122P and 102P. notes on the photos below: 1.) first photo shows nine cart/headshell assemblies, clockwise from leftmost: Pickering XV15/1200E; Technics 280C; Shure M-75G; Pioneer PN-330; Ortofon OM5; Nivico (Nippon Victor Co.) DT-33S; Audio Technica AT-11; Audio Technica AT-125LC; and Audio Technica AT-15. 2.) some of the reserves on the deck of my fully manual Technics SL-M1 fitted with the Pickering XV15 which AK's 'emaidel', former executive of Stanton, claimed is regarded by audio demigods such as Saul Marantz and Henry Kloss in the '80s as one of the best sounding carts ever produced. 3.) my favorite is of course Pickering XV15/1200E originally produced way back in the '70s. replacement stylus of this cart still selling in eBay at over $120. 4.) the Pickering in action. 5.) another favorite is the Ortofon OM5, a heavy duty model, which for so many years was installed on my Dual CS621. also highly preferred is the Nivico Shibata cart, which was originally produced for quadraphonics. it remains a sentimental fave among oldtimer audiophiles in Japan. 6.) the AT15, another Shibata original, gliding on a Chuo Denki turntable. what's nice with this collection is i that i have at least one spare styli for all, mostly from Walco (US) and Nagaoka (Japan). the Shure models have at least three spares each, thanks to a local supplier here who kept his styli inventory for the past 20 years.
