Got a Victor 921 K2 integrated amp with built in DAC what i love with this amp is its DAC since i don't have a dedicated CDP i used its DAC for audio thanks pala kay Chief Akyat learn how to change my DVD player setting now even for DVD concert and movies ganda.. ;D ;D ;D
i notice that this amp only have a bass control wala treble funny unlike other amp that have separate control bass/treble setting and if you turn the bass control you'll notice the music seems fuller ( even vocals kasama )..

got myself a sansui au-d907x decade which i presently use in my main set-up and a luxman l-430.
of the 2 i prefer the sansui as it sounds sweeter and fuller than the luxman, however, specially when paired with the technics speakers, i seem to prefer (bare ha without any add-ons like a pre-amp, etc) the lux as it has bass boost, which compliment nicely what the technics doesnt have, that is bass (not ported kasi).

I have once have a yamaha A-750a from pier and it cost me 5k. This brute really served me well for almost 2 years without breakdown 8 hours a day.
It got an on/off switch for Class A operation with 5 watts continous current delivering clear highs and tight lows. Seeing this amp for the first time makes me sure this is the one I am looking to hooked my hard to drive pairs of AR and Infinity and I am right.... "napagpag ang alikabok ng mga matigas ang ulong speakers na yon".... Nagulo sila pati mga kapitbahay..........

Well in my opinion, when it comes to muscle and power but with finesse there's no alternative but only Luxman does it best, 3 models of Luxman passed my hands ranging from the 70's to early and mid of 80's.
According to what I learned from surfing the net since this is my favorite gear..... unsold Luxman amp be it integrated or power amp had been re-packaged and and re-sold to market as a new model, their Q series in the 70's been sold as L series in the 80's so owning both you expect the same brute sound.
If you have a hard driving speakers, then leave the chores to Luxman be it only 55 w/p/c and it will drive it like a mustang on highway 54......
Pag Luxman kahit int. amp same din ang quality ng sound if you compare it to Luxman Power amp only the power makes the difference.
But for me when it comes to Luxman amp? the best is yet to come, I'm still looking forward in owning the Luxman Int. Amp model L-309, this for me is the best of the best. cream of the crop...uy buen bonita....
Second in my list is yamaha they're have thinner sound but maybe because they focus in clarity and soundstage, siyempre may downside in everything that is good, di ba?
If you plan to buy a yamaha amp, opt for higher power, kc, in my xperience pag lower wattge na yamaha choosy sa cpeaker partner saka older (80's) na yamaha malakas uminit based in my xperince) kahit pre-amp, cguro mainitin ulo ng designer.

just added another high-power surplus Sansui, my third, an hour ago. the latest is a 160wpc (220wpc 4 ohms) AU-X11, a huge integrated amp, in addition to my Sansui Alpha 907 (160wpc) and AUD-907F (120wpc). got it from a shop here in Davao at P8K but I'm sure the shopowner got it only at P6K (400 watts @ P15 per watt) froma warehouse here. i couldn't let the opportunity pass since it could disappear in just a few hours. that amp was priced at 275,000 yen in 1981 on niji's list.
my other amps outside of the three Sansuis: 1. Accuphase E-302 (not surplus, integrated 120wpc) 2. Yamaha M4 (power amp, 130wpc) 3. Yamaha B3 (monoblock power amp, 200watts) 4. Yamaha 1000III (integrated amp, 100wpc)
A Chinese trader here just offered me a swap: my Thorens 321 record deck with a brand new Bom valve (tube) integrated amp 100wpc (valued at P14K) and I might consider it since I bought my Thorens 10 years ago at half that figure.
