The term "tweak" includes upgrades, modifications or any name that you may call for the purpose of fine-tuning your audio equipment or enhancing its appearance.
This thread will serve as a chronicle of all the tweaks introduced into your audio system and as a source of information for forumers on possible tweaks that can be applied to their own gears.

eto ang mgandang itanong ng mga baguhan, may topic board ba para sa mga "terms" like 'rivoed' 'tweak' etc etc... There is no dedicated board for such terms. please refer to the initial post for our very own definition of the term "tweak". "rivoed" means tweaked by Rene Rivo (Hyperaudio). This term has been widely used by local audio fanatics who know and admire Rene Rivo for his exceptional knowledge and ability to bring wonders to audio equipment. guys, It is free to ask questions or clarifications. we are here to learn.

For me Rivoed means only three things to me: 1- Restoration (original Parts) 2. Modification (Changing premium parts) 3. Branded & Signature Systems 1 - 2 - 3 ......Three sides or TRIANGLE Master Rene Rivo.......hehehehe just my opinion po!

Mga Sirssss & Mastersssss,
Maybe u can share or extend to me knowledge in this mod:
Taking the PSU of a NAD amplifier and putting it in its own housing, is short nakalabas na cya sa original chassis.
What benefit or enhancement will it do in terms of amp musicality.
thanks sa lahat ng babasa at magbibigay ng karunungang di mapapantayan.......

Technically, a power supply unit (PSU) generates EMI interference that, in a badly designed layout, could induce hum into the audio path. Transformers are also known to vibrate.
Unless you can show that the PSU inside the amp actually adds unwanted signals into the audio path, I have to doubt taking out and re-housing the PSUs from well-designed amplifers or receivers as is will matter from practical audibility terms. But if you'd be taking them out, you might as well increase their current handling abilities with more powerful tranies, better rectification and regulation. I think that would matter more.
