Yes I have always believed in the analog path. Pero this is the first time I have actually listened to same albums using the same set-up.
amp - vintage pioneer tube amp upgraded with telefunken 12ax7 at preamp TT - Technics SL1200 MK2 (cart) shure N92 (upgraded IC and plug) CD player - NAD 512 Speakers - Mission 780 wire - Ixos 6006 (?) IC - Ixos
I played "come away with me" on CD. It was a very familiar tune since Norah is one of my favorite artist. I lighted a cigarette and drank my coffee. I switched to the phonostage and sat back on my chair. Putik! My eyes popped, had difficulty breathing, chest pains, cold sweat...hehe..para akong inatake! The difference was night and day. Vocals was more realistic. The details were very vibrant and the bass was even tighter.
This was my first comparo test kaya i was amazed. This explains why many people have shifted to analog pala. Now my blinds have been lifted. I have seen the light. Todo na toh!
Grabe this is a sinful hobby talaga. Panay ang mura ko since last night eh. hehe

If not, get hold of that pressing and you'll really hear not just a night and day difference. Kuha ka rin ng mga Direct To Disc lps, ganda yun parang may mumu dun sa tabi mo pag yun ang naka-salang. ;D ;D Now my blinds have been lifted. I have seen the light. Todo na toh! WRONG!!!!............... Ika nga nila sa Bansa ng Kawad..... "You have seen the groove not the light"............ Ahehehehehe......;D ;D ;D
