I know it is not a stereo amp, but I used to listen to my RXV450 for 2 channel music. Then I sold my RXV440 for another RXV receiver.
However, it was audioslave who introduced me to stereo integrateds.
I still have his RA-02 and may be keeping it for a long time. Probably I'll just add a power amp to it.
I tried to get into tubes but I'm still having second thoughts.

makikisawsaw lang po. i bought a Krell KSA-300 in '95 but unable to bring it here in Pinas since it was over 100lbs. and i was coming from Wash DC. my impression while listening to it (tweaked by Dan D' Agostino himself, the former owner claimed), matched with good speakers, is that it would be a waste of money to buy a low-powered amp, even valve (just my personal opinion). i made the mistake of buying an MF 40-watt class A amp in 1999 though.
listening to Krell means you don't just hear the music, you also feel it in you. same sensation i got when i first heard high-powered Threshold Stasis and GAS Ampzilla (by Nelson Pass and Jim Bongiorno, respectively) during auditions at that time.

High Power Amp best for Big speakers, like Grand Eutophia, Genesis & the likes. Though normal volume level you can "FEEL" it in you! This music with feelings
From what I know "Dan D' Agostino" still the Icon of KRELL

meron dito yung TA4 (SA4 power amp sa Stasis line), 100 wpc receiver pero high-current (400 watts). kadadaan ko lang kahapon, binida pa ng shopowner sa akin na nabenta na niya. kasi pinipilit niya sa akin na maganda (at P5K) kaya lang sinilip ko hindi toroidal transfo at comparatively magaan (about 20kgs.) compared with my other amps.
balak ko rin sanang bilhin, ewan ko ba kung bakit nakalampas sa akin 'yun. this was made when Threshold was losing money and had to temporarily close shop in late '80s i think. so, it lent its engineers and the technology to Nakamichi to build hefty amps.
